April 2010 Jonna 9 months, Ben 2 and 3/4:)

Trying to make her stand. It may be a while before she walks!

Gotta love that smile!

You know she's happy when you get this smile, and drool is dripping from her chin.

Ben has become quite the photographer, when I ask him to take pictures of Jonna and I.

Ben kept saying "watch this Mom!" as he performed the daredevil attempts on his bike.

Wouldn't be a picture post without Ben showing his "BIG" muscles.

Another shot taken by Ben. He even says, "Say Cheese Jonna."

Yes, Jonna is chewing on Mugsy's dog bone.

She cries when I try to take it away.

Yes, I gave her my tennis shoe instead. Seemed to work. But notice she still has the bone.

My dancing babies! The "shakin" leg! Performed by Benjamin Holee. Done best while only wearing your underwear. And pay attention to the end of the first song, Ben singing in the background! Jonna did her best at the "flapping arm" move also.

Jonna Sleeping and Eating

Another Happy Friday

I have a ton of pictures to post, but I feel as if I am really behind on blogging, so I will give some updates:

Jonna: Still not crawling, but is quite amazing how she can move her self accross a room by rolling over, and scooting on her bum. Still just two teeth. Her hair has taken on a light brown blonde with red highlights. Her personality is hilarious. If she isn't looking at you, or back is to you, and you start to talk to her, she just grins from ear to ear, like I hear you, but I am going to take my sweet little time to turn to pay attention to you. When she meets new people. The first look, is a look of defining curiousness. The second look if she approves is a big fat "non tooth less grin" I like to call it her "sh** eating grin". She loves people food and in between bites of her shoveling the chicken, peas, carrots, or cereal, we force feed her some baby food. Do we need to do that? Hmmmmm, I dunno. And I wonder why my kids have always been chunky. She puts anything in her mouth she can find. Ben never did that he just looked at stuff, picked it up and carried it around. I am not sure how much grass she has ingested so far. I love puttin her in summer dresses. The are the down right cutest things to put on girls, and man I wish I could wear those things every day. She loves her Mama, and Loves her Dad too. Well of course, right. But if I go to day care and don't pick her up within seconds of seeing me, she will go from smiling to crying in two seconds flat.

Benjamin: Cutest little Man I ever did see. Rides his bicycle around the house last night, drops a toy, and he stops. Says "Oh Crap!" and gets off to pick it up. I didn't hear it, Jake said all he could do was walk away to keep from laughing. Nice. Um, worried that may have come from me...He likes to answer questions with "Actuawee, I want ......." And if he hears or sees something new. "Mom, I see something" "Mom, I hear something." That may not sound cute, but when he says it, it sure is. His favorite thing to wear right now is a Superman Tshirt, and some red Sweatshorts. Yes, it can still be quite the battle in talking him into wearing something else. And I thought, this would be trouble I would have with a girl, trying to decide what to wear. Loves his black flip flops. Likes to show his muscles. Reminds me he can "tear Uncle Johnny" down, and that he is going to marry Johnny's girlfriend, Holley. Anything that we eat for dinner that night, "makes his muscles strong," This is always said in mid-flex of biceps. He likes to run fast and drive fast. Thanks Jake. That will be a sure plus in the future. He likes to remind Jonna everything is okay, "I was just going potty, Jonna." If Jonna cries, when he leaves the room, he will run in and say, I am here, It's okay.

Jake: Working a lot. Always has an idea to get rich quick. Jonna has him wrapped around her finger. Likes to let Ben help him cut grass on the "big red tractor". Still works on people's computers as a hobby.

Me: Working, biking, eating, and being an awesome Mom. Every so often I stop to take a potty break:)

47 MILES BABY!

That's right! I beat my overall biking record this week. Just finished biking on my lunch break and hit 47 miles total from Monday through Friday this week! WHOOT WHOOT! I even gave up a lunch break with friends so I could work out instead of EAT. Now that is dedication! HAHA!

The scary thought is that we are actually planning on biking just a little less than that in one day on our June trip. Hmmmmmm.........

Letter from Jonna

Dear Mom and Dad,

I know I have been sick off and on a lot lately, and man I wished I felt better. When you picked me up yesterday, I was all red in the face, on fire at 101 temp, and snot running out my nose, stil unable to breathe, and you can still make me smile though. Man I felt so bad for you, you don't need to have those tears in your eyes when you see me all miserable. You know I got the Big Guy upstairs taking care of me. Thanks for taking me to the doctor though. It is so frustrating that I can't drive yet. But anyhoo, so good thing it isn't strep throat, so I can enjoy my first Easter with you guys. I think Ben is really gonna enjoy it a little more than I. I dont' quite get the whole Easter Bunny thing yet, and I will probably get things like Gerber puffs and some 'biter cookies'. I know the Easter Bunny is trying, but Benjamin is probably going to get the really cool sutff like a whole basket of candy and a new movie or somethings like that. I will be super jealous and will definately be trying to snatch up the candy when you guys aren't looking. Of Course, Ben will probably tell on me like he always does. He never seems to forget to remind me...."You're a BABY, JONNA! I am a BIG BOY!"

So, I know I am not crawling yet, but I have found that my flexibility and chunky legs can help my bum scoot around quite well. Don't turn away too long, cuz the stuff on the coffee table you don't want me to grab is almost in reach and when you put it too close to the edge, you know I can get it. I sure do love that silver remote.

Ya, and this tooth thing, really Mom?? What is up with that? I get one, and the pain is gone. Whew! What a relief, and then wth, four days later, here comes another. So when does this whole thing end. Cuz I could really give or take the aching gums and cutting teeth. I mean I totaly "gum up" that mashed chicken you gave me the other night just fine with out teeth. Yes, and that's another thing, if you are going to sit in front of me and eat all that good food like grilled Kabobs, spaghetti, or salad. Don't expect me to sit here and eat those spoonfulls of mushy baby food. I mean it is okay, but Benjamin looks like he is having a whole lot more fun then me eating his food. Bouncing his utensils around, flying the airplane of food into his mouth, and then every so often when you guys aren't looking he likes to throw his peas and corn in his cup of water. Don't tell him I told you that though.

Man, I love my brother. He is so good to me. My favorite all time toy is little cars right now, and you know he will put literally 10 of them in my lap, if you ask him to give me a toy. They taste real good for some reason. That guy cracks me up too. He would hop and jump when yelling at that frog Dad found last night. That was HILARIOUS! I couldn't stop giggling. I mean who really talks to a frog? Come on!

And I don't know if you have noticed lately, but I have MAD singing skills. I mean do you hear me? LAlalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaa.aaaaaaaaa. DAdadadadadadadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! You just wait Mom, I WILL be on American Idol some day.

And, yes i know you had to ask. Sticking my tongue out in a curve over my upper lip, does truly help me concentrate and smile real big.

So, Mom, Dad, I love you a lot. Hope you are having a great day!

Also, I can't stand it when you leave me behind in a room. So, could you work on that?
