learning experience

Life is just one big learning experience. I don't know that I don't ever stop learning new things or just being reminded of old things. The reminders are good for me just to keep me in full gear.


Just to name a few:

Sometimes a funeral can actually be uplifting, even when they are sad. They are truly celebrations of one's life, and what better way to go out with a bang than having your 30 grandchildren and 32 grandchildren there to commemorate you.

Visits with Papa Doug and Grandma Deena are wonderful for the kids. Family is so important and you can never spend enough time with them.


Delivering a ham to someone can almost always make them smile.

Life would be a whole lot easier on everyone if people would take responsibility for their actions.

But sometimes, you have to literally hold someone's hand to help them get through.

The Nike symbol on Ben's shorts means that he "Saves the Day!"

Sometimes the best thing to do with your husband, is to suck up the fight you are about to have or you are in, and let the 'love shine through' that your relationship was built on. It is what it is.

It's a lot more fun to play with toys half naked than fully clothed.
