This is the first day of the rest of your life.

2009 The New YEAR

The trip to Utah was amazing. The house we stayed in was a 4800 square foot mansion in my eyes. Every Family of the Holee clan had their own room, with only one that was shared. Everything was bright and shiny. No decorations for the kiddo's to break. Three play areas for the little one's(and adults too) to romp around, play fooseball, guitar hero, watch movies, and wrestle. Three levels, and we figured out that just one level was about the size of our entire living space in our house. WOWSA! Two feet of snow on the ground, but the roads mostly clear. Did some sled riding and snowball fighting. Ben did a little eating of the snow, which he thought was pretty cool.

Dad and Ben laying around in the cushiony snow.

Let me try this out.

Mmmmmm. PRETTY TASTY!

Ready for some sled riding!

Kind of hard to get around in the snow when it is practically as deep as he was tall!

He had a little buddy to play with the entire time while we were there, Mr. Braddock, who will be two in February. They were quite the pair. I will try to download a wrestling video.

We got home on January 2nd. To mention the plane rides. The flight there was quite difficult especially in the beginning. Benjamin doesn't like to be confined or sit still, especially when it consists of me restraining him. He loved looking out the plan window though. And the flight back he slept from take-off to landing.

While we were there we visited Grandpa Doug at work at the Salt Lake City airport, and got a picture of the plane he flies. Ben even got to sit in the front seat and act like he was driving.

We made it home safely, and had such a great time with the family!
